This is one of the most common and absolutely valid concerns I hear from men considering penile enhancement:

“Will I lose sensation in my penis?”

Yes, There Can Be Sensory Changes

As with any surgery that involves an incision, there is a possibility of temporary or minor long-term changes in sensation. The Himplant procedure is no different in that regard.

But the key is where and how sensation may be affected.

What Area is Typically Affected?

The only region where men occasionally experience altered sensation is:

• A narrow band on the dorsal (top) side of the penis
• It typically runs from the base toward the glans

What does that change feel like?

• Some men report a mild “pins and needles” feeling
• Others describe it as slightly “dull” or less responsive
• For most, it’s a subtle alteration, not a total loss.

How Long Does It Last?

Recovery of sensation is variable but here’s what I’ve observed in my years of experience:

• Some men are back to 100% normal sensation within just a few weeks
• Others may take several months to fully recover that dorsal sensitivity
• A small subset report long term loss of sensation in this narrow strip of skin.

What Areas Are Not Affected?

This is the part that matters most:

• The ventral (underside) of the penis
• The lateral (side) surfaces

These are the areas where the majority of sexual pleasure comes from and, fortunately, these are not impacted by the procedure.

That means your ability to enjoy sex, respond to touch, and maintain sensitivity where it counts remains intact.

A Surprising Side Benefit
